My client is a market leading wholeseller with over 400 stores across the UK who specialise in electronics. They pride themselves in finding unqiue solutions to their wide customer base.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager will include:

  • Work with all stakeholders to create/improve/expand team practices to deliver the specific requirements
  • Ensure full buy-in from all team members, managers, and stakeholders
  • Manage and meet competing deadlines and priorities, ensuring obstacles are removed to delivery and all interdependencies are recognised
  • Organising post project reviews and manage improvements based on lessons learnt
  • Keeping all stakeholders fully appraised of status on all projects, identifying and managing both business and project risk plus any required changes as appropriate
  • Work with cross-functional teams and resources to achieve program and milestones within agreed timeframes

The Successful Applicant

The successful Marketing Manager will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Expert knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working with a high volume of information and has excellent attention to
  • Pragmatic flexibility with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, business drivers, and organisational
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with various teams
    across the organization, creating and cultivating strong relationships.
  • Effective facilitation skills at a team level, remaining neutral, managing differing ideas through to a
    consensus & establishing trust.
  • Superior time management, organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable having difficult conversations
  • Confident communicating to people at all levels within the business
  • Coaches, mentors, and teaches team members, managers, and key stakeholders
  • Proactively seeks to eliminate or minimize impact of barriers, and addresses challenges to team
  • Experience leading complex projects with significant number of
    deliverables including information technology and dependencies, working within defined scope and
    budgets with aggressive timelines
