Job Description

Main responsibilities for the Materials Analyst:

* Work with suppliers to bring in material OTIF
* Manage warehouse inventory levels for material in their portfolio
* Engineering changes - work with engineering and new project teams to introduce new materials and run down old stock (min obsolete)
* Management of direct parts with the customer
* Management of aftermarket parts
* Day to day management of supplier - key contact
* Schedule parts to ensure arrive
* Liaise daily with customer, supplier, planning team, warehouse and internal stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Materials Analyst will be/have:

  • Experience working with SAP
  • Good strategic skills
  • Good communication skills across internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytically minded and comfortable with large data sets
  • Strong excel skills
  • Use to working in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working in Automotive sector is desirable
  • JIT knowledge
