My client is searching for an experienced Merchandiser to lead one of their many busy departments, to bring their planning and analytical expertise to ensure all products are stocked and available in the most optimum and profitable way while keeping their loyal customers happy.

Job Description

  • Update WSSI with buy plan and sign-off KPI's.
  • Attend key selection meetings with senior management.
  • Build Range plan and Layout plans with buying and marketing teams.
  • Review weekly trading performance and achieved KPI's, identifying issues and courses of action for weekly trading meetings.
  • Manage Intake at category and line level.
  • Manage store option plans to ensure each store has the optimum amount of stock.
  • Guide and direct Merchandising Team to help deliver the plan.
  • Provide and monitor development plans for the Assistant Merchandiser/Merchandise Assistant.

The Successful Applicant

  • You have relevant stock and strategy planning experience in a large Retail business
  • You are currently in a structured Merchandising team with management responsibilities
  • You are currently managing a team of at least 3 - 6 team members in merchandising
  • You are extremely numerate and have an eye for detail with the ability to clearly articulate your plans for improvement
  • You have multi-product experience in a fashion brand as an established merchandiser
