About Our Client
My Client is a well known high-end luxury retailer.
Job Description
- Utilises a range of prototyping skills to clearly communicate design concepts to users to rapidly gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Creates user flows and wireframes when building user interface mock-ups and prototypes.
- Supports implementation of designs by providing production-ready specifications in collaboration with engineers.
- Organise and design projects in a way in which allows short feedback cycles by releasing small improvements often.
- Ensures business and technical context in which the designed system must operate is considered in the design proposal.
- Stays up to date with latest design & technology trends and can adapt to new software where it benefits the team.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience working both as an individual contributor within a design team and leading design projects from idea through to implementation.
- 3+ years of experience in designing UX and UI for both desktop and mobile applications.
- Outstanding portfolio of prior work that demonstrates strong user-centred as well as visual design capabilities across a range of different projects.
- Deep knowledge of visual design theory (e.g., typography, colour theory, composition, iconography, etc.) and excellent analogue visual communication skills (e.g., sketching)
- Advanced prototyping skills with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks), inVision and Sketch.
- Expert understanding of information architecture, workflows, concept development and interaction design.
- Experience working in agile environments.
