Job Description
- Ensuring all equipment is working safely, efficiently and effectively;
- Installation, commissioning and maintenance of new equipment.
- Repairing, maintaining and modifying equipment as required.
- Providing both mechanical and electrical advice and expertise to ensure conformity, safety and operational objectives are satisfied.
- Investigating equi0ment failures and deterioration and recommending and carrying out remedial action.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of remedial maintenance or modification work.
- Contributing to major overhaul work in the production facility as required.
The Successful Applicant
- Holding an NVQ, HNC or Apprenticeship in Engineering or equivalent (essential).
- Possessing 17th or 18th Edition (essential).
- Multi Skilled with Electrical bias (essential).
- Knowledgeable and able to fault find PLC's (desirable).
- Experienced within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
