About Our Client
The business are a family run organisation established in 2002, who create bespoke, design led products for supermarkets and highstreet retailers. They have a huge emphasis on sustainability and as such, all products are manufactured from recycled plastic bottles and are fully sustainable and 100% biodegradable.
They have a core product range as well as a sizeable seasonable business, and have a sizeable in house design team that work closely with customers to create products suited to them and their target market.
Due to impressive growth, they are looking to add a National Account Manager to the team.
Job Description
As National Account Manager, you will be fully P&L responsible for a portfolio of grocery accounts. The business are open as to which accounts this will be dependent on existing relationships, preference etc.
You will work closely with your customers and the inhouse design team to create core product ranges aswell as seasonal products, which are typically updated 4 times a year. This is a strategic role and you will be expected to grow your accounts through relationship management, new product launches and creating promotional plans.
Some of your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with all stakeholders on each customer
- Building relationships with clients based on trust, respect and company reputation
- Generate sales among client accounts, including upsetting and cross-selling
- Joint business planning with key customers
- Working with design team on product development from concept, to artwork, to final order
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure customers' requirements are fulfilled
- Develop product in line with customer requirement
- Agree cost pricing based on the know parameters
- Oversee sampling process and get customer approval on samples
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, we are looking for the following:
- Strong grocery experience
- FMCG product background - we are open to food or non food candidates
- Ideally worked with design led products but this is not essential
- The ability to manage multiple projects and relationships Simultaneously
- Time and task management skills are essential
- Negotiation skills for both single transaction and high level partnerships
- Strong Presentation Skills
- The ability to tell a positive story and inspire people, both customers and internally
- A talent for influencing customers, stakeholders and colleagues
What's on Offer
Up to £55,000 + car & benefits.
You will need to be in the Midlands office a coulpe of days a week.
