About Our Client

A hugely successful, family run business based in the North West are looking to add a National Account Manager to their team.

The business boast a huge portfolio of branded and private label products across multiple categories including small kitchen appliances, electronics and homewares. They supply all the big grocery, highstreet and discounter customers and have an unrivalled reputation in their sector for their quality products.

Job Description

As National Account Manager, you will have full P&L responsbility for £3.1M worth of business across a number of highstreet and grocery customers. You will be expected to manage and grow your account base, working closely with your buyers to develop JBPs, introducing new product lines and manage any cost/price increases.

Some of your day to day duties will include:

Actively monitor KPI targets to ensure goals are on track according to the company requirements

o Turnover targets

o Profit targets

* Devise sales strategy to ensure increased product sales within customer allocation.

* Analyse market trends to identify new opportunities.

* Customer price negotiations.

* Business planning and analytics

* Market strategy & focused approach

* Maximise margin and customer profitability

* Minimise stockholding and maximise cashflow

* Positively working with relevant department to achieve business objectives

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates either operating at NAM level currently, or candidates at National Account Executive/Key Accounts that are looking for a step up.

We are open to any non food product category aslong as you have managed or supported on grocery and/or highstreet customers.

What's on Offer

Up to £45,000 + car or car allowance. OTE up to £20K + benefits.
