Job Description
To be responsible for the management and sales generation of new National Accounts via proactively identifying and converting new account opportunities.
- Develop business development strategies to maximize sales opportunities in target markets and verticals
- Report on competitor activities.
- Inputting market data and prospect progress into CRM.
- Reporting on known competitors, decision makers and influencers in each opportunity.
- Report progress on a weekly basis in to CRM on all new and current opportunities
- Ensure optimum cross-selling activity across all Value Streams.
- Create detailed Value Propositions unique to each opportunity
- Provide reliable sales forecasts on a weekly basis.
- Accurately complete the necessary documentation regarding any specification /design in accordance with the required standards and codes of practice.
- Ensure documentation is submitted to the relevant branch installation personnel in a timely fashion.
- Work in conjunction with other members of the national accounts team.
- Develop strong working relationships with Branch personnel both sales and operations.
- Liaise with all relevant internal departments as necessary.
The Successful Applicant
- 5 - 10 years of sales / business development experience
- Strong organizational talents and ability to work under pressure and in new environments
- Develop business plans for success including key milestones
- Strong business acumen, adaptability to various contact roles
