The National Training Manager will be working for a national transport business operating in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector
Job Description
The responsibilities for the National Transport Manager will be:
- Overseeing the development and introduction of a new training matrix
- Engaging all relevant workforce populations to improve operational performance
- Building relationships with relevant managers to ensure that training priorities are encouraged operationally
- Demonstrating a commitment to best practice and assist in rollouts of new technologies
- Provide reporting on technology usage and assist in customer reporting of KPIs
- Update senior leadership on training/skillset development
- Design and suggest new training needs as and when necessary
The Successful Applicant
The National Transport Manager will have the below skillset:
- A naturally autonomous working style
- Engaging personality and a background in engaging teams in challenging setups
- Some experience in a Transport environment
- Strong TMS/technology skills with transport app experience a huge advantage
- Will be well versed in drivers hours and working regulations
- Will be commutable nationally with a base in Birmingham
What's on Offer
The National Training Manager will have a salary of between £40,000 and £45,000 plus car/bonus
