Job Description



  • Managing and supporting the server and end user switch environment, principally Cisco with the following device's, 3750, 2960, 4400, 6509, ASA 5500's, 2901, 2921 and 800 series devices


  • Supporting and managing WatchGuard, Juniper, Fortinet & Cisco Firewalls and Sandboxing


  • Management of Logon Management / TACAS, Cisco / Fortinet / Motorola Wireless, configuration and support of a CISCO CUCM, VGW's CUCM Express and emergency responder, SIEM tools, AlienVault networking threat analysis systems, IDS / IPS Systems and Triggers, Solarwinds, PRTG Network systems, Group's MPLS, Internet and DMZ's.


  • Large estate, 3000+ deployed sites, VPN solutions vulnerability management, and regular penetration testing Cisco / Tandberg Video Conference Equipment and Cisco TPM, Copper and Fibre Channel Networks, Maintenance of Site Database, connections and site information, maintaining PCI and SOX compliance across the group

    Pro-actively seek to improve efficiencies in all operational areas, Build and maintain effective working relationships with key partners across the business.


  • Work closely with European and Corporate colleagues, contact sites as and when required, maintaining systems and network


  • Communicate with group colleague s in over 15 country's sometimes overcoming language barriers.


  • Work with key users from the functional business areas to define in detail the functional requirements for approved changes to current systems.


  • Work with key users from the functional business areas to prepare for user acceptance testing. Support the key users during the UAT phase.


  • Work with suppliers to ensure standards are adhered to and changes and corrections are delivered within the required timescale and to the required technical standard. Additional European languages preferred, but not essential.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience configuring and setting up Fortigate or Juniper Firewalls, Cisco ASR and security appliances
  • Experience in SD WAN
  • Experience in working in large scale enterprise environments
  • Experienced in collaborating and working as part of a global team.


  • Experience setting up and maintaining Radius Servers, RSA, or other Multi Factor authentication solutions;


  • Experience maintaining company wide network, WAN, MPLS, through Juniper, WatchGuard, Cisco and Fortinet Firewalls


  • Experience configuring and deploying of SIEM and threat correlation systems such as QRADAR, Splunk, Alien Vault or FortiMonitor


  • Experience managing Video Conference Systems, Ideally experience with Tandberg, Cisco TPM


  • Experience with FortiManager, FortiAuthenticator Ideal;


  • Previous experience being on call 24/7


  • Experience deploying networking monitoring solutions, such as Solarwinds, PRTG



Experience of working with Security methodologies, particularly with SOX and PCI frameworks.



Knowledge:

  • Expert knowledge with Cisco CUCM Call Manager
  • Fortigate / Juniper Firewalls
  • SD WAN
  • Knowledge of tunneling protocols IPSEC, LWAPP, L2TP
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the fundamentals behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, DMVPN, HSRP, BGP, EIGRP
  • In-depth understanding of server and networking hardening principals
  • In-depth understanding of PCI standards and requirements



Desirable:

Additional languages preferred, ideally French, German or Spanish
