About Our Client
Legal & General Affordable Homes is leading the evolution of the affordable housing sector with the aim to become one of the leading affordable housing providers in the UK.
Through collaborating with developers, housing associations and public sector bodies across the country, Legal & General Affordable Homes is delivering new build social rent, affordable rent and shared ownership homes, bringing volume institutional capital to the affordable housing sector at scale.
This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious organisation that is on a journey to become one of the leading providers of affordable homes, delivering around 3,000 properties per annum.
This role will consider and scrutinise emerging opportunities relating to customers to shape the operational strategy, including best use of customer insight information and potential digital solutions that will improve the customer experience. The Non-Executive Director will be pivotal in helping to set the strategic direction of the business, ensuring good governance is adhered to and that the viability of the organisation is maintained.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering excellent customer service for businesses that have sizeable customer bases and have had some experience of operating in a Non-Executive capacity. You will have held a senior leadership or an Executive role that is focused on Customer Service, and been involved in guiding an organisation through a change or advancement in their business strategy. If you have knowledge of outsourcing or contract management, that would also be useful.
A commercial outlook and understanding of what is needed for an ambitious organisation to deliver, is essential for this Non-Executive position.
