Ocean Projects Supervisor

The Ocean Projects Supervisor will be based in South West London and will be responsible for:

• Team Leadership
• Be the escalation point for all issues within your team
• Assist with the Month End process
• Understanding of your Team's monthly P&L targets, and put processes in place in order to achieve them
• Identify development area's and put corrective measures in place to correct them
• Assist with performance review processes in your team
• Provide training and mentoring for your team (existing and new staff)
• Implement any changes
• Assist with the recruitment of new operations staff within your team
• Manage the Projects Operations process from start to finish
• Book with and manage subcontractors throughout the shipment process
• Manage all customs processes
• Complete all billing activities
• Customer relationship development
• Create a positive working environment
• Maintain awareness of forwarding and logistics markets
• Ensure that the systems are used to create/maintain highly efficient processes
• Ensure compliance with existing Quality systems
• Increase efficiency & effectiveness
• Ensure that invoices are posted within specified time frame
