Job Description

A successful Online Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for:

  • Set up of offers and promotions accurately and on time, checking links, testing pre/post to going live, updating promotional campaign pages
  • Creating collections of products for campaigns and promotions
  • Implement website refreshes, including and not limited to, loading banners, landing pages, brand pages - with direction from the Online Trading Executive/ Online Trading Manager
  • Ensure the site has the most up to date assets by coordinating with external brands
  • Regularly review search analytics, put in place necessary redirects, or liaise with B&M to reduce the number of failed searches.
  • Actively monitor and optimise search results pages to display the most commercial, relevant, customer friendly results
  • Conduct any necessary SEO changes as requested by the digital marketing team
  • Conduct any necessary onsite analytics to understand business performance relating to search and banner performance and suggest any improvements

The Successful Applicant

A successful Online Visual Merchandiser will have:

  • Knowledge of merchandising processes, procedures and systems
  • A commercial mind, understand how to maximise conversion and cross-sell
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven time management/organisational skills customer focused and data-centric
  • Proven aptitude for systems (good working knowledge of Google Analytics / Adobe and Microsoft Excel)
  • Microsoft Excel: Pivot Tables, V-look ups, SUMIF statements
  • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
  • Working knowledge of analytics systems: e.g. Adobe Omniture
  • Working knowledge of multi-variant Testing tools: e.g. Oracle Maxymiser HTML coding
