About Our Client

My Client are a Global Leading Logistics Provider who continue to evolve their Customer proposition.

This role sits within their 4PL Division which offers bespoke, tailored partnership solutions to their Customers.

Job Description

Hybrid working - with expectations of travel to the Customer who is based in Southampton as well some International travel.

  • Responsibility for all aspects of the Global Customer Account in terms of delivery of service, operational excellence, commercial performance and organic growth.
  • To establish and continue the development of strong two-way relationship with the Customer and other entities to expand the scope of services - Regionally and Globally.
  • Develop effective plans for business improvement activities including digitalisation of processes.
  • To ensure through the team that all aspects of the business operate within defined corporate and requirements.
  • To drive maximum collaboration and standardisation of best practice sharing and implementation across all 4PL operations and Control Towers Globally.
  • To ensure constructive relationships with the Customer at all levels.
  • To understand, develop corrective actions and medium/long term stratergies to ensure profitability and growth of account.
  • Develop a culture of respect and trust, aligned and understood priorities and delivering high performance within the team.

The Successful Applicant

Must have experience gained within the Logistics sector and be able to provide relevant examples of both operations and commercial results.

4PL sector experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Demonstrate examples of partnering with Customers in delivering strategic solutions.

Experienced customer facing senior operational/account manager

European Logistics/Supply Chain Understanding

Able to travel both domestically and Internationally

Willing to travel to Southampton on average 2 days a week
