Outsourced Accountant required to join successful Cambridge practice

About Our Client
Based in professional presented offices in Cambridge, the team has around sixty staff headed by a team of directors, long serving Senior Managerial and managerial support team and wider accounting team of qualified professionals, part qualified and trainee ACCA/ACAs, ATT, ATT etc and payroll/admin staff. The office environment is very team orientated with a culture of all round involvement and autonomy to develop client relationships and to take on responsibility and pursue areas of interest. The firms working environment allows a lot of responsibility and management of jobs and client contact, from start to finish for their more junior team members as they develop within the firm, whilst having the support of a managerial team and directors. The firm has grown organically and through successful mergers . As an overview, whilst with very varied clients across sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, the business has a lean and focus perhaps with OMB clients, from one man contractors to £60million turnover clients - Perhaps a core from £500k to several £million turnover across a wide range of industries - the firm has a decent proportion of audit clients as well with trading companies, OMBs and a number of charities. This opportunity as an Outsourced Senior Accountant / Client Manager will focus working within the outsourced accounting arm of the business which is experiencing significant ongoing growth providing management accounts, VAT and wider outsourced accounting functions to a wide spectrum of clients.
Joining as an Outsourcing Senior, based in the firm's Cambridge offices, you will carve a key role here within this team and business in a role with increasing responsibility, client management and chance to carve a key, influential role in this growing arm of the business. You will manage clients and lead the delivery of outsourced accounting services across management accounts, VAT and other wide ranging services. You will develop relationships with clients, with the chance to work closely with directors alongside this, delivering wide ranging added value solutions to clients, in addition to providing a first class accounting service. You will develop and progress in your career within this growing firm.
The Successful Applicant
You may be any of ACA/ACCA qualified, or AAT qualified and significantly experienced, or have built your career entirely through experience to date. Most importantly you will have developed a career background within the accountancy practice sector, with a minimum of of four to five years or ideally more experience in this sector. You have either a comparable outsourced accounting role background, or have been preparing year end accounts, tax and delivering other wide ranging, general accountancy practice services to a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and be interested in the prospect of moving into this type of role. You will have experience gained within any accountancy firm size and environment and be seeking a career move within the profession where you can develop and progress within your career.
What's on Offer
