Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure alignment with statutory requirements.
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management promptly.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
  • Process new hires, terminations, and other payroll changes efficiently.
  • Support the preparation and submission of payroll tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Assist in refining and improving payroll processes and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Specialist should have:

  • Ideally 5 years minimum experience in payroll processing, ideally within the retail industry.
  • must have UK and EMEA payroll experience
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A good understanding of payroll legislation and best practices.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Experience in collaborating with accounting or finance teams.
