Job Description

  • Manage and review the preparation of personal tax returns for a diverse client portfolio.
  • Provide expert tax planning advice to clients, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings and communicate them effectively to clients.
  • Assist with HMRC enquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring the quality of their work.
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and advise on their implications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive professional services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Tax Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification such as ATT, CTA, or equivalent.
  • Experience in personal tax compliance and advisory work.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
