About Our Client

Based in Yeovil, this accountancy practice is a leading and growth focused chartered firm of accountants. The firm has a strong reputation acting for private clients and wide ranging individuals, HMWIs, directors, trusts, estates and other clients on the personal tax side, with a wide ranging SMEs/OMBs client base on the corporate side with clients looking to grow and wanting the advice around wider ranging business planning and growth strategies. Whilst a quality compliance service is a key offering the firm has also has a focus on delivering on wider advisory and tax planning and business advice and the right professional will benefit from developing their tax career with involvement in wide ranging tax planning projects over time, with career progression and development path on offer.

Job Description

Joining as a Personal / Mixed Tax Senior in the firms Yeovil offices you will deliver a quality compliance service across both personal and corporate tax for wide ranging clients, working with Managers, Partner and the wider tax group, as a key addition. You will be encouraged and supported to develop technically with involvement on tax planning and advisory work. Typical project work covers areas across capital tax planning, IHT, trusts, wills, property related tax advice and tax implications and planning for succession. Alongside this there will involvement in corporate tax related advisory work as well. There will be a clear progression path on offer as well for the right individual seeking a route to carve a career path and progress in their tax career.

The Successful Applicant

You will be any of ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA recently qualified with a career background in tax compliance across either personal tax, corporate tax or with a mixed tax background already. You may have advisory/planning tax experience, gained within an accounting firm, or tax boutique firm of any size, or be looking to develop this side of your career building on an existing compliance focused career so far. Your background will have been developed within a firm of any size environment from small independent through to Top Tier firm background and you will be looking for a career move offering development and progression potential. Both full time and part time hours can be explored.

What's on Offer
