Job Description

The role of Planning & Inventory Manager will be responsible for:

  • Manage and optimise inventory levels to ensure smooth production.
  • Oversee procurement processes, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Develop and implement effective planning strategies.
  • Monitor supply chain performance and implement necessary improvements.
  • Work closely with various department leads to ensure alignment of objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the procurement and supply chain team.
  • Manage budgeting and cost-out initiatives within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry and company standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Planning & Inventory Manager should have:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong strategic planning and inventory management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
