About Our Client

Small to medium sized business with room to grow. A mutual building society with a strong customer focus. This role will work with a well established team on business and technology change, the change team for this is 2 years old and this is a new role to bridge the gap between the end users and project managers.

Job Description

- Assist the Change Manager in the areas of governance procedures and routines including programme and milestone planning and monitoring, risk and issue management, progress and status reporting and change control.

- Prepare information to monitor, track and report on the delivery of benefits against the programme business case.

- Help execute detailed implementation plans including detailed schedule of all activities included in the Society project standards

- Prepare reports for the Steering Group and programme team meetings.

- Maintain the risk and issue register, change control documentation and monitor progress against cost budgets and planned benefits.

- Monitor programme critical success measures and performance indicators.

- Create project and program schedules and critical path analysis.

- Maintain business case model and analysis.

- Create and maintain critical dependency maps across the programme.

- Produce documentation to assist the Change Manager create, track and monitor the change control process and potential programme impact.

- Manage the programme issue resolution and risk management process.

- Create and maintain all programme documentation and storage procedures.

- Defines and maintains a process to escalate programme risks and issues to the Programme Manager for consideration.

The Successful Applicant

-Strong knowledge & skills developed from hands on experience of working with data
and presenting this in an effective manner.
- Familiar with project management tools, critical path analysis and budget & forecasting
type techniques.
- Previous Programme Office work or academic experience a distinct advantage,
- Excellent organisational skills - attention to detail required
- Good all round knowledge of desktop packages and devices - must be computer literate
in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Working knowledge of Visio and MS Project would be preferred
- comfortable with numerical data
- Excellent oral and written communication skills - able to express themselves effectively
- The ability to listen, review, comprehend and interpret data
- Problem solver - good at delivering solutions
