My client is an industry-leading global manufacturing business that designs and delivers beautiful, innovative products to last a lifetime. They are looking to grow their manufacturing team in Wolverhampton by recruiting a Polisher / Finishing Operative.
Job Description
The successful Polisher / Finishing Operative will:
- Responsible for the polishing of components to the quality standard required by the company
- Report any quality issues / concerns to the team leader
- Carry out routine maintenance when required
- Notify the team leader of consumable items that are out of stock
- To ensure that general Health & Safety housekeeping and policies are adhered to at all times
- Maintain output at budget
- Housekeeping and 5S programme
- Compliance with standard procedures
The Successful Applicant
We are looking to speak to candidates who have/are:
- Previous experience of working within a metal finishing role
- Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets
- Ability to work without supervision
