My client is a leading travel business with global presence, with HQ in London

Job Description

  • Responsible for development and execution of communication strategies and programmes that position the brands in order to improve the brand profile
  • Coordinate and deliver the PR program in the region
  • Work closely with PR colleagues in other regions, sharing media and comms strategies, driving cohesion across PR & comms plans and reflect global objectives
  • Support global internal comms managers on regional initiatives and events
  • Drive strong internal engagement and understanding for key messages and launches
  • Develop a full year region-specific PR strategy and activity plan
  • Executive PR initiatives and activities to engage key stakeholders across the UK and Europe

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrable experience in public relations or journalism in the UK and Europe region
  • Experience in the travel space is highly preferred
  • Experience in working across large cross functional teams within complex, global environments.
  • Clear communicator with superb writing and messaging skills
  • Strong media and industry contacts within local market (travel/trade, business, news etc.)
  • Experience in managing PR agencies a plus
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and implement broad digital/social campaigns with success
