About Our Client
Our client is a global organisation with a truly B2B approach. Due to expansion of the commercial team, an opportunity has arisen for a Pricing Manager to join the business.
The Pricing Manager will have a truly cross-functional approach, working closely with all members of the commercial team (sales, category management, e-commerce, marketing, finance) to develop and implement appropriate pricing models for products and services. Accurate and timely communication of these will be essential. You will highlight and and exploit margin opportunities within key categories and channels and provide industry expertise on pricing trends and competitor pricing.
You will be truly plugged in to the heartbeat of the business and will prepare forecasts and budgets for the Senior Management Team.
You will also take leadership responsibility for a team of two Pricing Executives.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Pricing Manager can come from a couple of backgrounds. You could be an established Pricing Manager operating at this level, or an up and coming commercial individual who has a flair for analytics and pricing. It is essential that you:
- have previous managerial / leadership skills
- are have a proven track record in a price sensitive environment
- have advanced Excel and SQL experience
- possess a genuine flair for spotting commercial opportunity
- have an enquiring and analytical approach
- are a strong communicator and are able to influence at all levels across the business
