About Our Client
Michael Page are working with a large client seeking to appoint a Procurement Lead.
Job Description
- Take ownership of specific procurement categories and have extensive knowledge, eg. IT hardware/software, Facilities Management, Waste, travel, Traded Goods and Capital Investments across all UK sites
- Contribute towards the overall Procurement strategy by achieving savings and reducing supply risk.
- Increase Procurement spends under contract.
- Report achievements via KPI's and metrics.
- Assist and support the UK Head of Procurement and Procurement Manager in implementing UK and Group wide strategies into the UK.
- Drive improvements in Supplier Relationship Management and ESG objectives.
- Ensure Procurement data integrity of the company's SAP business system.
- Support and collaborate on tender processes for the chosen commodities.
- Help drive and implement new Procurement software solutions to aid the businesses focus on the digitalisation initiatives.
- Provide management information reporting when requested.
- Proactive towards own CPD.
The Successful Applicant
- Demonstrable experience in a procurement lead role with SRM.
- Experience of leading Supplier Management activities.
