Job Description

  • Draft and enact procurement strategies to superiors in department for final approval
  • Report to senior procurement manager and Head of Procurement
  • Run end to end procurement projects across categories
  • Work with contract managers to ensure delivery of agreed procurement strategies
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure business needs are met and value is delivered
  • Regularly report to procurement team and wider stakeholders
  • Developing supplier relationships
  • Ensure that procurement is operating within requirements of internal and external regulations

The Successful Applicant

  • Professional procurement qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent setting procurement strategy

  • Flexible with regards to working requirements
  • Can produce accurate and clear reports
  • Good understanding of procure to pay systems and processes
