Job Description

  • Lead supplier management and drive the end-to-end procurement and supplier management framework
  • Drive continuous improvement and evolution of all procurement supplier engagement
  • Negotiate and agree contracts on the firms behalf in line with wider business goals
  • Act as key point of contact on Procurement activity for the firm and manage relationships with outsourced service providers to ensure they are meeting, and where possible exceeding, business requirements through structure review meetings with the suppliers and relevant internal staff
  • Accurate financial analysis of procurement activity reflecting total lifetime cost and ROI where applicable
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals providing appropriate support, development and training
  • Manage the contract and legal review process ensuring the firms position and values are incorporated into any agreement
  • Deal with any complaints in relation to outsourced service providers in a timely manner where so directed to by relevant members of the Firm

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree/MCIPS/Equivalent qualification
  • A proven track record in Procurement and account management with demonstrable procurement experience working within a professional services environment at a senior management level
  • Ability to make operational decisions balanced with longer term strategic thinking
  • The ability to implement cost management strategies, winning the hearts and minds of stakeholders across the business
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Resilient and calm under pressure with an adaptable and flexible approach
  • Pro-active and takes initiative
