About Our Client

The university is a leading UK university with two campuses based in the region of Hertfordshire.

Job Description

  • Run end to end procurement activities
  • Manage and monitor live contracts and analyse them in order to identify areas for cost saving and delivery of further value
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to encourage take up of procurement strategies
  • Comply with relevant frameworks and procurement regulations and help ensure compliance across the department and the organisation
  • Report into Head of Procurement
  • Identify and select and evaluate suppliers as well as assisting with supplier relationship management when appropriate
  • Produce reports as required by the business
  • Encourage procurement best practice
