Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the consultancy sector.
  • Understanding of PA24, PCR15 and/or utilities regulations is a must.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings and value for money.
  • Monitor market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement goals with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procurement regulations and standards.
  • Analyse procurement data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement whilst operating under public sector regulation.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and use it to inform procurement strategies.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
