About Your Role:
Product Managers retain ownership of their products once they are live, and act as a key conduit between the business teams & DevOps teams for ensuring products are appropriately supported and further developed where necessary.
The role will involve the ownership, development and extension of the IMPACT Dashboards, which is a comprehensive analytics suite offering an end-to-end view of Unilever innovation performance, from product idea exploration to in-market performance, insightful data and predictive signals to power innovation and unlock growth for the business.
Through data visualisations it brings structured answers to key business questions arming people with information to make confident decisions on our innovation portfolio, based on large quantities of data from multiple, dynamic sources.
The IMPACT Dashboards brings big shifts: - From multiple, often unreliable sources of information to a standardised, integrated reporting suite consolidating multiple internal and external trusted data sources built on a future-fit data foundation (in the Unilever Data Lake).
From basic, descriptive, one size fits all innovation reports to an intelligent innovation dashboard built around key business questions and offering flexible view of data through various lenses (filters) powered by predictive analytics.
From spending excessive time and effort in manual collation and chart creation to dynamic collaboration capabilities enabling export of high-quality data visualisation, snip charts/visuals off the dashboard directly
From limited access and heavy reliance on people to pull out the information for the decision makers to a self-serve, democratic capability empowering portfolio managers and decision makers to stay on top of what is happening in their innovation portfolio.
In addition to the InnoFLEX Impact the role will also look at analytic solutions using Internal and External data to drive Innovation insights and identify opportunities to grow the business edge to edge.
InnoFLEX is Unilever's new way of developing innovation using LEAN methodology which brings a new more agile Governance supported by a new IT system in order to enable innovators to deliver better and more purposeful innovations to markets.
