About Our Client
Our client has it's head office in Telford and offices located across the globe. Due to considerable growth, they organisation are recruiting a new role, that of a standalone Product Manager to take control of one of their leading brands.
Reporting in to the Head of Product Management, the Product Manager will manage a broad product portfolio under one of the organisation's leading brands from cradle to grave. The role involves working closely with the sourcing and product development teams in the Far East, and key local stakeholders including, Marketing (Comms), Operations, Sales and Quality.
You'll define and manage the NPD roadmap, while managing and creating all product related information including pricing, packaging, instruction manuals, data sheets, lables and sales aides. You'll also be confident in presenting new products to the internal sales teams and delivering internal training session around this.
All this will be geared towards maintaining the presence in the retail market and exploiting a huge opportunity to grow in Trade in the UK, while defining 'best practice' for the rest of the world.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Product Manager will:
- have a track record of Product Management in a B2B business
- have had a focus on growing a Trade channel and operating in Retail markets
- take a commercial approach to NPD, working closely with the development team in Asia
- be a strong communicator and able to juggle many projects
- build strong relationships across multiple stakeholders
- become a market expert
