The role and responsibilities of the Product Marketing Manager:
Market intelligence-be the expert on our customers
Understand the competitive landscape-be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
Collaborate with all other departments internally to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target customer.
Understand and document our processes and drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on this.
Develop a marketing plan in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programmes on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support internally.
Understand and support our teams and sales functions
The Successful Applicant
The successful Product Marketing Manager will need to be based in Rotherham and have the following experience
An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical
2+ years of product marketing experience in a market-facing role
Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Project or Basecamp.
Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools
Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Exceptional ROI-tracking skills
Must be a strong verbal communicator and a solid writer.
Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!
Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
Pragmatic Institute Certified (PMC) III or higher preferred.
