Job Description

Interpret various customer documentation, such as Bill of Materials (BoMs), specifications, drawings, sketch sheets, assembly, and test schedules, towards ensuring a robust manufacturing processes.
Develop all processes and procedures for producing parts and sub-assemblies, including defining the necessary tooling
Take responsibility for the comprehensive validation of all manufacturing processes, following customer protocols
Maintain, support, and control instructions, stage drawings, tool
Assist in the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, from identifying root causes to implementing corrective actions
Generate detailed information for manufacturing cost estimation during the request for quotation process
Specify the equipment and tooling required for new production products
Create justifications for the acquisition of new equipment
Ensure that products and services meet customer requirements, quality standards, and airworthiness authorities' regulations.
Continuously identify opportunities to enhance processes, and implement improvement actions wherever necessary

The Successful Applicant

A recognised engineering qualification
Ability to create and modify CNC machine programs
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in a CAD / AutoCAD / 3D CAD system and Microsoft Office applications
Working knowledge of Solidworks and EdgeCAM
Familiarity with production engineering, with a preference for experience in aerospace, high-tech manufacturing, or precision engineering.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
Ability to create plans and meet agreed-upon deadlines
Experience in creating and updating technical documents
