Job Description

  • Developing, coordinating, and executing production plans and schedules.
  • Identifying and addressing any issues that could impact production timelines.
  • Working closely with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitoring the progress of production and adjusting schedules as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Coordinating with various teams to understand and meet production requirements.
  • Proactively identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Producing regular reports on production status and performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Planner should have:

  • A solid understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using planning software and other computer applications.
  • An understanding of the industrial and manufacturing sector.
