Job Description

* Carry out all activities in full compliance with H&SE legislation, within company policy and procedure.
* Responsible for reporting any unsafe acts or unsafe conditions observed in accordance
with responsibilities under the Health and Safety at work Act.
* To identify the equipment and resource/expertise required to deliver the engineering project requirements.
* To create an engineering project plan with a work breakdown structure with an agreed base line, planned start and stop
dates for each activity, resources required for each activity and a capability of showing actual progress against the
planned progress in support of the overall project/programme
* To create a project risk register associated with engineering element which clearly identifies the severity and the
probability of the risk and the actions to be taken to reduce or remove the risk for inclusion into the overall project plan.
* To set up a meeting regime to suit the complexity of the engineering element of the project. All meetings will be agenda
driven and supported with meeting action statements
* To progress chase the agreed actions to suit the planned progress. To flag up any areas of concern to the project
stakeholders that may lead to an adverse effect regarding the project outcome.
* To produce a project monthly report for submission to the Project Manager. The report must include Progress against
plan (Microsoft Project), Outstanding actions effecting planned progress, the planned spend vs the actual spend, the
forecast project spend vs the planned project spend. A project status statement including statement on earned value and
the forecast completion date vs the planned completion date
* The completion of the engineering element of the project for the CAPEX and submit to the Project Manager

* The ability to build and develop effective relationships and use these to improve performance.
* Strong IT, communication (verbal/written), time management, team working & presentation skills
* Knowledge of the principles of company policy and operating procedures in order to ensure site and company
compliance.
* Approachable with assertiveness and direction, Lateral thinking problem solving, Planning prioritisation (objective
setting), Selling and promoting a point of view
