BRC Imagination Arts are leaders in their industry and are now, expanding their global team, looking for Project Managers, Technical Directors and Project Coordinators for their UK office based in Edinburgh.
Projects you will be required to support on include the creation of visitor experiences for several established Scotch whisky distilleries, including the new and highly anticipated Johnnie Walker brand home in the heart of Edinburgh.
The Successful Applicant
Technical Directors will manage the overall design and specifications for the show technical systems (AV/Lighting/Show Control/Show Action) of the Production and Installation scope of works. This includes integration with the facility and other show design disciplines such as scenic, graphics and media. Successful candidates will enjoy solving the intricate puzzle of integrating AV Systems with, Lighting Systems, Special Effects, Scenic elements and Architecture.
Technical Directors will be familiar with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Rhino and SketchUp and must be able to open, navigate and comment on technical drawings in their application, examples include AutoCAD, Revit, etc. Familiarity with project management software and Box.com would be advantageous.
Project Managers will manage and coordinate BRC's Production and Installation phase efforts for all experiential work streams of the project. Responsibilities will include;
- Team and Vendor management
- Scope and deliverables management
- Client and facility team communication
Project Managers will be familiar with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Rhino and SketchUp and project management software including Excel, MS Project, Monday.com, FastTrack, OmniPlan, Procore, Lucidchart, Omnigraffle, Airtable. Box.com experience would be advantageous.
Project Co-ordinators will coordinate for Production and Install scopes of work in support of project and technical managers. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Support of all production management team members
- File Management (client facing and internal)
- Team Travel (booking and itineraries)
- Expense Reports
- Note Taking/Publishing
- Calendar coordination (client & internal)
- Travel coordination
- Vendor Recaps (circulation and filing)
- New team onboarding of project standards
- Knowledge of Interior design packages for coordination and communication preferred
What's on Offer
All roles are on a fixed term contract basis, based in Edinburgh with travel throughout Scotland. Salaries range from £40K - £90K dependent upon role and experience.
