We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to manage work with suppliers locally, on product validation. Specifically inspecting welding and measurements on heavy industrial products.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of all materials and components.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.
  • Handle any issues or discrepancies with suppliers effectively.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant industry quality standards and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Good understanding of industrial manufacturing processes.
