Job Description
- Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities on behalf of the client
- Undertake cost analysis for investment project work
- Assist in establishing clients' requirements and feasibility studies
- Perform risk, value engineering and cost control analysis
- Advise on procurement strategies
- Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
- Prepare and analyse costings for tenders
- Provide advice on contractual claims
- Analyse outcomes and write detailed contract works progress reports
- Value completed works, agree and arrange payments
- Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use
- Understand the implications of health and safety regulations
The Successful Applicant
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
- Experience in Housing projects
- Excellent forecasting & financial management
