Job Description
As a Research Scientist in the Bioanalytical department you will be laboratory-based and responsible for:
- Supporting mammalian cell culture passaging
- Designing and optimising a range of bioanalytical methods (ELISA, cell-based assays, SPR etc)
- Conducting data analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues
- Owning equipment operation to ensure correct calibration and maintenance is carried out
- Adherence to GLP and cGMP requirements throughout
- Complete and peer-review quality documentation (SOPs, Protocols, Log Books, Lab Reports etc
This is a full-time permanent position based in North-West London.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in the role, you will have a great attitude and a willingness to be a real team player. You will have:
- A degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in a biological science or highly related discipline
- Experience within similar research scientist / associate role within the biopharmaceutical / biotechnology field
- Cell culturing experience
- Knowledge of SPR Systems
- Competent with a range of analytical techniques (ELISA, Cell-based Potency Assay, Flow Cytometry all advantageous)
