The leader is expected to be on site 4 days per week on average.Job DescriptionTechnology is a high potential market for Michael Page and we are investing heavily to develop our expertise and capability. Our customer base is a mix of start ups, SMEs, PLCs and public sector customers.You will work with the UK tech leadership team in implementing the sales strategy by developing a clear commercial understanding of their local market and managing resources effectively to maximise productivity. You will be responsible for generating sales opportunities, both for yourself and for team members, and combines your own customer engagement activities with the development of their team. Whilst executing strategy you will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring the team; attracting and hiring our future talent and delivering organic promotion is fundamental to the role.We expect the team size to triple over the coming years and you will be responsible for defining a clear vision for the team and the role each person will play in that vision. You will drive performance from the team and support others to maximise their potential and plan for future growth of the teamThe Successful ApplicantWe are looking for an experienced leader (either Senior Manager or Director) who have a strong track record of success, in both personal revenue and developing team members. Applicants must have previous experience of 360 recruitment in technology and proven sales/business development skillsWe look for a Leader who is inquisitive, consultative and solution-orientated. We expect strong influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and rapport with the team and both internal / external customers. The ideal individual will excel at networking with senior leaders and facilitate online and in person events across the tech community. We want new ideas on how we can engage with the tech community and shape our solutions to meet the needs of an evolving customer based.You will be given a small team to grow and develop, a client base that any recruiter would be envious of and access to leading cutting edge technologies and tools like Salesforce CRM, Power BI Insights and LinkedIn.If you are looking for an opportunity that will stretch and delight you in equal measure then the search is over.
