Regulatory Reporting Associate - Challenger, FinTech
City of London location (with lots of hybrid home working)
Banking & Financial Services**Full suite Regulatory Reporting (CRR2: Basel III, Corep, CRD IV) / OR an earlier Reg knowledge alongside very strong Excel and the right motives for building a Regulatory Reporting career route**This newly created role will a) provide support across all aspects of reporting to the Prudential Regulatory Authority, Financial Services Authority, Bank of England and European Banking Authority b) partner with the Head of Regulatory Reporting to further enhance the regulatory reporting control environment and c) partner with the wider finance team to support capital planning and analysis processes (including ICAAP).
- Preparation of COREP and Finrep returns including XBRL submission, at a solo and consolidated level
- Preparation of other regulatory returns for PRA, FSA, EBA and Bank of England as required
- Analytical review and preparation of review and sign off schedules
- Support capital planning and analysis processes
- Support initiatives to improve processes, controls and documentation
- Support the development of regulatory reporting to accommodate business growth plans
- Assist the Head of Regulatory Reporting in completion of Pillar 3 schedules
- Provide support to the business and ad hoc reporting and project work
The Successful Applicant
Regulatory Reporting Associate - Challenger, FinTech
Banking & Financial Services**Full suite Regulatory Reporting (CRR2: Basel III, Corep, CRD IV) / OR an earlier Reg knowledge alongside very strong Excel and the right motives for building a Regulatory Reporting career route**
- Experience of preparing, reviewing and submitting COREP returns, including Own Funds and Leverage
- Basic understanding of the Basel 4 framework
- Recent experience of applying the standardised approach to credit risk
- Experience working with manual spreadsheet processes
- Strong excel skills
- Evidence of driving process and control improvements
- Experience of documenting policies and procedures
- Experience in the implementation of Regulatory reporting software
- Accountancy qualified, for example ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Good communication skills
