Job Description

Research Manager (12 month FTC)

London (flexible working)

Role:

Ensure the development of new products and interventions is insight led and designed in a way that the charity can evidence its impact. This is done by building 'evaluation by design' in to new products.

Where robust evaluation is required, ensure that that their theories of change, data capture and KPI's are developed with the relevant stakeholders during project initiation.

Working with the director, develop an evaluation strategy and framework to evidence the impact of the charities digital and community based activities.

Conduct data analysis at a granular level from multiple digital sources to understand what works and what does not work in achieving the charities objectives.

Create insight rich reports and actionable recommendations that identify key messages and findings from their reports, data sources or consultation with consumer and stakeholder audiences.

The Successful Applicant

Research Manager (12 month FTC)

Essential:

  • Sound working knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research principles, methodologies and best practice
  • Experience of impact and process evaluation
  • Sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodology and best practice through the research cycle
  • Proven experience in design and project management of externally commissioned research projects
  • Track record of sustaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills: ability to conduct in-house analysis and cull insight from external data sources
  • Familiar working with reporting dashboards, KPI's and knowledge management
  • Good knowledge of Theory of Change and/or Logic Model approaches to inform impact-driven evaluations and intervention design
