Job Description

Responsibilities of the Retail Marketing Manager include:

  • Develop and implement B2C marketing strategies that align with the company's vision.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement.
  • Analyse market trends and competitors' activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage marketing budget and ensure all activities deliver a strong return on investment.
  • Drive the growth of the company's product portfolio through effective shopper marketing.
  • Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals to achieve their best work.
  • Work closely with retail customer counterparts to drive product launches and incentive programmes
  • Report on marketing performance and share insights with senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Retail Marketing Manager should have:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a B2C Marketing role within the Consumer sector ideally with exposure to specialist retailers including B&Q, Homebase, DIY Retail and Screwfix.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A good understanding of shopper marketing and customer engagement strategies.
  • Able to travel into the office 3 days a week in Lichfield
