Bullet points

  • A newly created role in a growing Financial Services group.

  • A broad role 'greenfield' with a Reward + HR Projects Scope across Europe

About Our Client

My Client has over 4000 employees based in 45 offices around the world. A global Financial Services Firm they offer a single-source solution through establishing the broadest range of products in the industry. These services include fund services, digital on boarding and bank accounts, depository, Tax Advice, custody and super ManCo services, business services (including HR and Payroll) and a pioneering ESG Ratings and Advisory service for private companies. My client administers approx $650 billion + of assets for its clients annually. They are looking for a strong Reward and European HR Director to help them as they grow further.

Job Description

This is a newly created and existing opportunity. The successful candidate will be the first 'Reward' / 'Comp & Bens' focused hire that this Global Financial Services firm has invested in. Part of the ongoing investment in its corporate functions as it has rapidly scaled the successful individual will take change of BAU compensation processes for the firm whilst also looking to influence best practice and develop a fitting Reward Strategy for the group. In addition to taking a lead on Comp & Bens issues (for which the successful candidate will report directly into the HRD on) there is the scope and hope that the successful candidate will be involved in broader HR projects and leadership across the UK and Europe.

Example Activities:

- BAU Compensation Processes - Governance and Remco leadership - EVP - Global Mobility / STBV Policy - Looking at the LTIP and making sure it is fit for purpose.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for this role would either be a HR Director with strong Compensation & Benefits or Reward experience or indeed the reverse an experienced Reward professional with experience and keenness to be involved in the broader HR landscape. Ideally we would like to speak with those in the FS sector and outside of that those that had experience in a listed company or one that had gone through an IPO.

This role is notionally located in London but could equally be based remotely throughout the UK or Ireland with remote working commonplace.

What's on Offer

A varied and interesting greenfield role reporting into the HRD of a growing FS group. A Salary of up to £100,000 + Bonus + Associated benefits.
