Job Description

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks within the organisation.
  • Analyse financial data, market trends, and regulatory changes to assess their impact on the company's risk profile.
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and controls in line with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement risk mitigation strategies and control measures.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk controls, and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to risk management and control.

The Successful Applicant

  • Newly qualified accountant from a Top 50 firm seeking their first step in risk/ control environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
