Job Description

Key responsibilities of the Sales Controller include:

  • Conducting reviews of all global rebate contracts annually, with assessment of commercial viability
  • Business partnering with sales teams to explore opportunities to reduce risks, simplify contracts and provide profitability analysis for RFPs
  • Working with local finance & tax teams to provide oversight to the accounting and payment process, ensuring accuracy of accruals and minimise prior period adjustments
  • Support process of strategic planning & Annual Operating Plan
  • Support month & quarter end global reporting process
  • Providing both regular and ad hoc reports to business unit general managers, finance managers & functional Directors
  • Liaising with wider commercial finance teams in centralised functions & sourcing regions

The Successful Applicant

The successful Sales Controller will be:

  • Experienced in business partnering
  • Experienced in the analysis of tenders, contracts and pricing
  • Accountancy qualifications are desired, but not required
  • Experienced working in commercial finance
  • Highly numerate & analytical
  • Commercial reporting & US GAAP experience would be beneficial
  • Project management experience beneficial
