Job Description

As a Sales Director, ( base remotely) you will be responsible for managing a team of dedicated sales professionals and driving revenue growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Effectively manage and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and exceed customer expectations.

  • Market Focus: Target builders, contractors with a strong emphasis on sub-contractors, ensuring they provide the right solutions.

  • Distribution Strategy: Foster relationships with other distributors who prefer smaller quantities and rapid access to extensive stock.

  • Industry Expertise: Leverage your experience in distribution, wholesale, or merchant roles within the building products segment.

  • Commercial Drive: Take a proactive approach to drive commercial growth and seek out new opportunities in the market.

The Successful Applicant

The Sales Director will have:

  • Proven leadership in sales within the building materials industry.
  • Strong network and knowledge of the building products sector.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Adept at creating and implementing sales strategies.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic market conditions and respond with creative solutions
