Liniar decking and fencing ranges are supplied and installed on some of the largest Leisure Parks in the UK through excellent relationships with major specialist installers.

Job Description

Sales Director Designate: Outdoor Products

The Sales Director Designate will be responsible for continuing to develop key accounts as well as develop new business in the Timber and Plastic Merchant channel.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Managing key accounts, maintaining strong, long-term relationships and maximising sales opportunities within them.
  • Designing and delivering strategic sales plans through expanding the existing and new customer base
  • Maintaining accurate and on-time forecast reporting
  • Generating new business through a variety of resources such as cold calling, existing contacts, site visits and enquiries
  • Presenting sales and revenue reports and forecasts to the existing Sales Director, Group Sales Director and Senior Management Team
  • Identifying emerging markets and being fully aware of new products and the competition status within the industry.
  • Working closely with the Design and Marketing teams to bring an ongoing stream of new products and enhancements to market.

Sales Manager: Outdoor Products (Midlands South)

The Sales Manager will be responsible for continuing to develop key accounts as well as develop new business in the Timber and Plastic Merchant channel.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets through developing and supporting existing customers and expanding the customer base.
  • Build and promote strong, long lasting customer relationships.
  • Design and deliver strategic sales plans through expanding the existing and new customer base.
  • Generate new business through a variety of resources such as cold calling, existing contacts, site visits and enquiries.
  • Present sales and revenue reports and forecasts to the Sales Director.
  • Identify emerging markets and be fully aware of new products and the competition status within the industry.
  • Attend exhibitions and shows to proactively generate new leads.

The Successful Applicant

Sales Director Designate: Outdoor Products

The successful applicant will demonstrate a range of experience, skills and competencies including:

  • A demonstrable track record of developing key accounts within the building products sector.
  • Previous experience managing Timber / Plastic Merchants will be a distinct advantage.
  • A self-motivated individual who is looking for that next career step in a Director Designate position.
  • The ability to lead on high level negotiations at board level.
  • A strong communicator that is able develop key relationships at multiple levels internally and externally.

Previous management experience would be advantageous, although it is not a prerequisite for the role.

Sales Manager: Outdoor Products (Midlands South)

The successful applicant will demonstrate a range of experience, skills and competencies including:

  • A proven track record of overachieving sales targets within the building products industry, with a multi-channel experience including the merchant sector.
  • Excellent account management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work.

You will also be

  • A strong communicator who will build key relationships from board level down, both internally and externally.
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to plan your work schedule effectively, whilst also remaining part of a wider team.
