About Our Client
A Global Medical Information and Education business.
The Scientific / Medical Education Director will design a strategy to provide premium scientific content.
A hands on and strategic role, the Director will maintain up-to-date knowledge of important clinical issues; relevant literature; clinical practice guidelines; approved therapeutic drugs, regimens, and devices; therapeutic pipelines; and key opinion leaders in Hematology and Oncology.
They will collaborate with both the internal team, and external partners and vendors, to develop ideas for quality content across a variety of channels including Video, Digital and Symposia
They will develop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and experts in hematology and oncology and will utilise those KOL's to provide high quality content.
The Director will develop appropriate continuing medical education for clinicians across the oncology and hematology arena.
The Successful Applicant
A bright, driven, motivated writer and editor with a positive, pro-active approach!
An advanced degree in Medicine or Science.
Significant experience as a medical writer and/or editor for a medical education/communications company, or similar
Significant experience in the Hematology / Oncology fields.
Experience of Continuing Medical Education.
Highly skilled at interpreting complex scientific data and results for a clinical audience.
Excellent editorial skills.
