Job Description

As the Senior Account Executive, you will:

  • Operate within a virtual team-selling environment, providing the Prospect/Customer with the primary point of contact and relationship owner within Minitab
  • You will assume the ownership role for your assigned enterprise accounts and territory, while driving the identification and qualification of new opportunities, developing and executing account & opportunity plans leading to the generation of both new business (new logo, cross-sell, upsell, consulting & training) and renewal business via software product license/subscriptions and service offerings
  • You will facilitate and maintain successful relationships with customers, which will be measured by their reference ability, Net Promoter Score, customer satisfaction levels and increased annual recurring revenue levels
  • Understand the clients needs and relate that to Minitab's USP in the market and delivering the right solution for the their need
  • Ensure continuous key relationships are maintain to maximise revenue opportunities within your customer base
  • Be expected to travel for on-site meetings with customers, prospects, and partners is 50-70%.

The Successful Applicant

As the successful Senior Account Executive, you will

  • Have a proven sales record within Enterprise software sales with a track record of closing contract values of 100k+ ACV
  • Ideally have experience within the Business Intelligence/Analytics sector but operating within Enterprise level accounts is crucial for this role
  • Experience of working with $1BN turnover organisations
  • Demonstrable experience of coordinating both internal and external stakeholders to deliver the right solution for the clients
  • Have a proven track record working on software solutions with sales cycles of 6-12 months +
  • Accessible to travel across the UK and to their Birmingham office as required
  • Operated in a similar Senior Account Executive or Account Director role previously
  • Have excellent presentation and communication skills
