Senior Accountant

The Senior Financial Accountant will:

• Manage the financial data and schedules within a timely manner ensuring these are provided to Board inclusive of accurate reporting of annual and year accounts.
• 
  
  Manage and complete fixed asset data in line with financial data and reconciliation to the General Ledger.
• 
  
  Manage and deliver all financial accounts in accordance to the relevant accounting standards and in appropriation for audits to best support these figures.
• 
  
  To Manage guide and advise budget holders, leaders and wider staff and assist managers, budget holders and wider staff to interpret key findings in relation to income and expenditure.
• 
  
  Manage complex accounts in producing capital forecasts in relation to charges for the upcoming financial year.
• 
  
  Manage an impairment review on a year basis while outlining any potential financial risks.
• Complete mandatory training as and when required.

• Deputise for the Head of Financial Accounting and Control as and when required.
